About 3-C ISD
3-C ISD creates scientifically validated assessment and intervention tools for professionals and parents who wish to help children build positive peer relationships and social coping skills.
Founded in February 2001 by Dr. Melissa DeRosier of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 3-C ISD is a research firm devoted to promoting the positive social development and mental health of children and families. 3-C ISD has built a uniquely talented staff of mental health professionals, school counselors, graduate students, and university affiliates to create evidence-based programs that address significant societal problems, such as school violence, social deficits of children and adolescents, and the development of psychopathology.
3-C ISD has a sister company on site, 3-C Family Services, a clinical practice covering a broad array of disciplines. Both companies benefit from this collaboration between the science and practice of psychology, implementing the Boulder model as an organization.
