SELmedia announced today that it has launched ParentPaths, the first ever online, self-guided program for parents who want to help their children learn and practice positive social skills. Parentpaths is a groundbreaking, research-based program that addresses topics critical to children's social skills development. Through a series of online videos, parents learn practical, effective methods for helping their children build positive social relationships.
Throughout the 10-session program, parents view presentations of key concepts as well as roleplays and rich discussions among parents facing common social skill issues including respect, communication, cooperation and impulse control. Each session includes practical resources that can be downloaded and printed including hands-on activities, tips, reading lists, and posters that reinforce the skills presented in that session.
Parents can buy a lifetime subscription to ParentPaths for a one-time fee of $59.95. ParentPaths can also be licensed by family clinics, mental health agencies and schools for use by their clients and parent communities.
ParentPaths is based on the Social Skills Group Intervention suite of scientifically validated and highly engaging programs and can be used in conjunction with S.S.GRIN or by itself.
