SELmedia Puts S.S.GRIN Online
SELmedia announced today that it has released its online versions of its evidence-based S.S.GRIN (Social Skills Group Intervention) programs for K-2, 3-5 and HFA (High Functioning Autism). The programs are used across the country in schools, community settings and clinics.
The S.S.GRIN programs are structured as RTI Tier 2 small group interventions that build the social skills of young children and promote positive peer relationships. Topics covered include communication skills, cooperation and compromise, making friends and understanding emotions. The programs emphasize multiple modes of learning with didactic instruction, group discussion, and practice through role playing, modeling, and hands-on activities.
The online versions of the programs provide instant access to the same materials as the shipped kit versions including online training, downloadable refills, fidelity checklists and pre/post assessment tools. Educators and clinicians now have an affordable option to delivering high quality, evidence-based interventions with 24x7 access to all materials.
Online versions of the S.S.GRIN Early Childhood and Adolescent programs will be available over the summer.
