The Parent Guide to S.S.GRIN manual provides professionals with the complete detailed instructions for how to organize and conduct groups for parents either in conjuction with an S.S.GRIN group for children or as a stand alone group for parents. The professional manual contains the following:
- As an evidence-based, skill-building program, the Parent Guide to S.S.GRIN contains introductory chapters discussing the background and goals for the intervention, as well as the data gathered in continuous research showing the validity and positive effects of this intervention.
- 10 session scripts provide a full detailed guide through each session, including easy-to-teach definitions of each social skill, clear descriptions of all learning activities, detailed explanations of how and when to use the Parent Handouts and activity cards.
