SELmedia, in collaboration with the 3-C Institute for Social Development, created this online workshop to help educators deal with cyberbullying and other forms of electronic violence.

New web based technologies have had a direct impact on the development of children’s ability to interact effectively with others.  Some developments are encouraging while others are clearly disturbing.

In this compelling and informative workshop you can expect to learn about online risks such as cyberbullying and online abuse.

You will learn about the importance of monitoring online behavior and practical things educators can do to help children who are affected by the various forms of electronic violence.

Join Dr. Ron Anderson, noted expert in the field of children’s social development as he works with a group of educators who are wrestling with this difficult issue.

Purchase either the Individual or the School-wide package and get immediate access to the online workshop for one year.  Renewable annually thereafter.

By the end of this workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Define bullying, relational bullying, and cyberbullying
  • Describe the social profiles of cyberbullies and victims
  • Explain the impact of cyberbullying on children, adolescents, and teens
  • Identify strategies and interventions that schools and counselors can use to prevent and respond to cyberbullying
