Kenneth V. Arneson, MBA, LSSBB
CEO

Mr. Arneson has 20 years of management and leadership experience in large organizations and entrepreneurial environments. From the beginning of his career, he has been recognized for his leadership and management abilities, outstanding communications skills and knack for establishing operations excellence. Most recently, he completed the successful turnaround of a startup software company, raising a round of private equity, negotiating the company's acquisition and achieving profitability. He has held numerous leadership positions including Vice President, COO, CEO and Board of Directors member. Mr. Arneson is a graduate of the US Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and holds an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC Chapel Hill.


Dr. Ron Anderson
VP, Programs

Dr. Anderson obtained his Ph.D in Counseling from the University of Florida in 1975. He has been a teacher, counselor, and university professor in a 30 year career in education. He served as the Senior Director of Student Services and Director of Safe Schools/Healthy Students for Wake County schools in Raleigh, North Carolina. In his most recent position, Dr. Anderson was Vice President of Research and Development for the Connect with Kids Television network.


David Debs
Director of Sales

Mr. Debs is a fifteen year veteran of the Duval County Public Schools. As an educator in Jacksonville, Florida he held many positions and in 1997 received the National Educator Award for use of media in instruction. After leaving the classroom, Mr. Debs directed the field operations and education outreach for the National Cable Telecommunications Association’s initiative Cable in the Classroom. In his most recent position, Mr. Debs directed the western division and sales force for the Connect with Kids television network.

Laura Harris Brightwood, LCSW

Director of Curriculum Development

Ms. Brightwood, LCSW is the Director of Curriculum Development at 3-C ISD. She is an avid writer, artist and clinician. She enjoys the challenge of bringing innovative curricula to life with creative, out-of-the-box thinking. Ms. Brightwood has designed and authored multiple curricula to help children enhance social and emotional learning, character education, and manage grief and bereavement. She is the author and illustrator of numerous books for children.


Emily Bucci

Graphic Publisher

Emily Bucci is a Graphic Publisher at 3-C Institute for Social Development. She works to develop graphic material to enhance developing products and serves as a member of the curriculum development team. She obtained her B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication with a concentration in Graphic Design from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.


Katie Garard

Finance Manager

Katie Garard is the Finance Manager for 3-C Institute for Social Development, Inc, 3-C Family Services, P.A. and SELmedia, Inc. She is also a part of company management and serves as a Team Leader. Her primary job responsibility is overall financial management for all three companies including both analysis and daily functions. Ms. Garard received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in finance and communication from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC.


Chris Hehman

Technology Director

Mr. Hehman is the IT Director and Project Manager for technology projects at 3-C ISD. He holds B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University.


 Jeff Jones

Graphic Designer

Jeff Jones is the Graphic Designer at 3-C Institute for Social Development. Mr. Jones grew up in the Raleigh area and received his degree from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. Mr. Jones has been with 3-C Institute for Social Development since April 2007 and brings over 13 years experience of graphic design and identity development.


Carey Rogers

Software Engineer

Ms. Rogers completed her B.S. degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University with a concentration in Database Management Systems. She specializes in the development of Web-based applications, with a strong focus on usability factors to help drive user satisfaction. The primary role of Ms. Rogers is to contribute in the design and development of the 3-C suite of products.
