Training
All SELmedia programs come with training opportunities that can help educators and other professionals implement them effectively. Training options include on-site, full and half-day training or virtual training on the web for the LifeStories for KidsTM and S.S.GRIN programs.
Onsite training is conducted by an experienced trainer who will use didactic and interactive approaches to learning. Participants can expect to learn how to implement the programs for maximum effectiveness and learn how to use the programs as part of their existing educational initiatives. Participants report that the training is both informative and fun.
The new web-based training is available to customers who purchase full programs. This training allows participants to learn from Dr. Melissa DeRosier, developer of the LifeStories for Kids and S.S.GRIN programs. Using new state of the art software, on-line participants can learn from text, audio and video presentations. They will also have the opportunity to take “check for understanding” activities. Coming soon, participants will also have the opportunity to connect with peers and share ideas and success stories as part of a community of learners.
